I suffered from depression at twenty one after having my first child, it was probably due to post natal depression, and having the boyfriend from hell. Having gone undiagnosed for about two years at my lowest point I found a book which gave a list of symtoms. Eureka I am depressed I am not going to the loony bin.
I went to my G.P had some cognative therapy which worked wonders, ditched the boyfriend from hell and went to University and got a science degree which made me feel so good about myself, in that time I also met a wonderfull man we are now married have a lovely home with my two children and I will never go back to that dark place again because your life is what you make it, things can get better so stop watching EastEnders and go out there and grab your self a bunch of happiness with both hands. good luck.
