Fear is a terrible depressive, especially if you don't fight it and allow it to overwhelm your life. Is there something that you, perhaps secretly, long to do - some unfulfilled ambition that you're too intimidated to confront or act on? Or something you keep putting off? My advice is to go for it. Be tough. Depression is so often a result of low self-esteem (not the other way round) so build your confidence and force yourself to get out there and do one thing a day, however small, that you're really scared of doing. The start writing a diary.
