Hi there
I am currently battling depression for the first time, I have been ill with severe depression since January 07. I find this website really useful, and have also set up a livejournal to document my recovery (hopefully!) I am suffering alot, as we all are, mainly of emotional numbness and an empty feeling. Anyway if anyone would like to read my journal the website address is http://cheerupchick.livejournal.com
I called it cheer up chick because if I had a penny for everyone who has told me to cheer up I would rich!
I'm 33 and a writer, depression is hard enough, but my creativity has stopped, which is harder. I am happy to email anyone at all who is struggling, to offer eachother support. Or if you have any stories of recovery, would love to hear them. I am still in the thick of it and don't really know anyone who has clinical depression, although I do know someone who recovered which gives us all hope right?
Anyway leave me a comment on the journal or email cheerupchick@livejournal.com
I wish you ALL the best with your recoveries.
Lorna
