I was wondering if anyone here has had the problem that everytime they take a new antidepressant it works brilliantly for 8-10 weeks then it stops working?
I heard through a friend of a friend that there was a way around it. I was wondering if any of you have heard of the following/know what its called or anyuthing about it or tried it themselves. I want to discuss it with my psychiatrist but don't really know enough about it!!!
Basically you take an antidepressant for a certain amount of time then come off it whilst going on another then come off that one whilst going on a third medication and then keep repreating the cycle of taking the threee medcations continuously?
Apparently if you take the right sort of medsyou can do this without spending any time without any medication and you can switch from one to the other with ease.
If you have heard of this PLEASE get in touch or if you found anything else that works,I'm getting desperate!!!
Thanks for readingx
Emma
