Living in a situation, where there is no hope, optimism or daylight is incredibly hard. Your head doesn't want to work hard enough to imagine the terrible lives of others. I've been so depressed in the past, retracting from my loved ones and friends, but having a son, who needs me has always stopped me from thinking of ending it. I would be making such a selfish choice to end my life.
Through my son , I realised looking at him and working with children, that I was once like them - this blank template, that embraces, little wondrous, simple things and doesn't look for problems or worryabout things that haven't even happened yet!
If you want to get better, try to remember how you or maybe children in your life view their world - with wide eyed innocence and lack of judgement.
Please try to embrace the smallest things in your everyday life and remember, you were once someone, who didn't have these problems/issues in your head. I understand, life scars us terribly, but just try to regain a tiny bit of childhood innocence at first. it may help.
Remember, you were once a blank template and that you didn't always feel this way.
Regards, Carl.
