Case Study 820

Case Studies

From my early childhood I was bullied and used to go to school with knots in my stomach. I am 44 now and feel those feelings again because of a bully. The result is I am off work with depression. I had bottled up my emotions and used to have to try to boost myself up before going to work. This has been a lifetime problem of mine and I feel utter hopelessness and despair at times. I have little energy and motivation now. I just feel in a bubble and marching time.

I have lost a dear brother quite recently and gone through a break up. on top of this I worry about my job and my financial ruin.

All this now has come to the surface due to this bully at work and I feel Isolated because they carry on with the day to day life while mine crumbles.

I have thought of ending it all, but I have two children which need me.
I feel a comlete failure a lot of the time as I should have been strong enough to overcome my fear of bullies.

I am on antidepressants and I hope I can burst this bubble sometime. The mountain I need to climb just seems so high and I may not survive it if I continue to feel so low. Nothing seems to please and I find I have to keep my chin up even when I am at my lowest point.

How can I get over this mountain?
