THEY WERE PUSHING AND SHOVING
AND FIGHTING FOR CARTS
THE CHILDREN WERE CRYING
THE PARENTS WERE MAD
THE CLERKS WERE SHORT TEMPERED
BUT THE C.E.O.S WERE GLAD
NO MORE CABBAGE PATCH KIDS
TICKLE ME ELMO IS DEAD
COMMERCIALS WILL GUIDE US
LIKE SHEEP WE ARE LED
WE PAID OFF LAST CHRISTMAS
JUST A FEW DAYS AGO
NOW ITS BACK TO THE CREDIT UNION
AND OFF SHOPPING AGAIN WE GO
IF THAT OLD BLUE HAIRED WOMEN
REACHES FOR THAT LAST VIDEO GAME
THAT MY DAUGHTER IS COUNTING ON
I'LL MAKE HER SORRY SHE CAME
THE COMMERCIAL SAID THATS THE ONE
NO OTHER ONE WILL DO
THEREFORE I MUST HAVE IT
IF I HAVE TO GO THROUGH "OLD BLUE"
JESUS WOULD UNDERSTAND
