Creative work

A girls poison.

She drinks from the bitterest cup,
And tastes the vilest truths,
She lost her way long ago,
And now she fights her way through the darkest nights,
An onward battle for the sweetest light.

She became lonely,
Sad and so confused,
Fear is her new life now,
Pessimistic and cynical god falls from her view,
Escape comes from the world deep within her soul,
A timeless world only the lonely ones can see.

A place to escape the hatred,
A place to leave the pain behind,
A dark, sharp secret world,
Where red is the colour of dreams.

Nobody on earth or in the heavenly realm
Can understand this poison.
A poison I must carry like a curse
