Creative Work 346
start to come round
and I look at myself
how long was I gone?
sitting alone.
no sound.
no TV on.
silent.
still.
wrong.
where was I?
besides sitting here.
between black and grey.
despair in my veins.
dismay in my bones.
so here I stay.
The wretched banality claws at my soul.
it bleeds.
not much left of it anyway.
my hand moves.
rusty and stiff.
then it stops.
do it again.
do it again,
please.
help me up.
It asks me why...
....I have no reply.
no reason to lie
no reason to cry
no reason to die
no reason try.
I don't know where I was before
and I don't care.
seems as though I might as well go back there.
