Creative Work 354
One day he will take his life, or he will die, and some imbalance in the cosmos will be rectified. He knows it will hurt and he's afraid and it's ok.
Everyone he knows will let him go. Some will see that they are strong and they will forget. They will go on and become what they are, and if he exists in Heaven or Hell, he'll smile for them.
If only the ground would open up now and swallow him, so he could fall and fall to the centre of the earth and be unmade by all its force, without a trace of what he was.
He is wise and he can't ignore that one day this world is going to eat us all.
