How It Feels
Do you know what it feels like,
To have everyone depend on you,
But at the same time, have no one?
Do you know what it feels like,
To have your friends disown you,
When they know you need them?
Do you know what it feels like,
To have no one to turn to,
To have no one to cry with?
Do you know what it feels like,
To want to be gone,
Never to wake again?
Do you know what it feels like,
When you get that implement,
And scratch it along your arm?
Do you know what it feels like,
To feel the pain, see the blood,
But keep going?
Do you know what it feels like,
To want to bleed and bleed
..... then stop?
Do you know what it feels like,
That brief moment between pain and blood,
Of escape and coping?
Do you know what it feels like,
To be trapped, stuck in this,
This evil, vicious circle?
