Self-help: Cultural pressures

Cultural pressures

Traditional roles for men and women are changing fast, and many jobs are being taken over by machines. At times it can seem that technology is racing away so fast that we mere mortals can't keep up, and this can lead to a sense of worthlessness in many people. But while our bodies may not be able to evolve as fast as we might like, right and wrong are still the same, and though careers may have to change, the need for people to have friends will not. Be aware of these new cultural pressures, but don't lose sight of the world around you.
