Improve your self-esteem

Self-esteem suffers greatly during depression, but there are things you can do to stop it dropping too far. Make an effort with your appearance - take pride in the way you dress, have a haircut, wear make-up (if appropriate) and so on. Don't go overboard, but put sufficient effort into it that you feel comfortable and happy with the way you look.
