Self-help: Don't predict

Don't predict

You can't predict the future. No, really, you can't! You can't even predict what the day will bring. Don't avoid doing something - a trip to the shops, a party, a holiday, etc. - just because you think that you wouldn't possibly enjoy it. Nothing in life is predictable. You might be right; you might not enjoy it. On the other hand, you might find the experience useful, fulfilling, maybe even pleasurable. Unless you try, you'll never know.
