Diet is important to mental, as well as physical, health. Try very hard to eat healthy food, not junk food, as the latter contains various chemicals that can affect mood and physical well-being. You may also want to consider taking a general-purpose vitamin supplement, particularly if your lifestyle makes it difficult for you to eat sensibly.
Taken in moderation in the morning, the caffeine in tea and coffee can help overcome the initial depression lethargy, giving you a kick-start to the day. Don't drink them in the late afternoon or evening, though, as you'll probably experience sleep problems.
